In 2006, ABC news Anchor, Bob Woodruff, was severely injured while reporting on U.S. and Iraqi security forces. After healing from his near fatal wounds, Bob and his family were inspired to create Remind.org to support and provide resources for injured heroes. In 2008, Remind.org hosted their first Stand Up for Heroes event in NYC. It is a star-studded fundraising event that kicks off the NYC Comedy Festival.
I had the privilege of creating the program for the first Stand Up for Heroes event. At that time, their branding was focused toward Remind.org, now it is known as Bob Woodruff Foundation. Here are a few samples from the program.
